1500L Whiskey Distilling Equipment


Components commonly found in 1500L distillation setup might include:

Whiskey is traditionally a two-step distillation process. A wash still (stripping still) and spirit still are used to produce traditional single malt whiskey. A hybrid still can produce whiskey in a single distillation with a rectification column. Larger distilleries use column stills or a combination of beer still and double to make whiskey production more efficient.


Typical Distillation Times

• 1 hour heat up• 4~5 hr stripping run• 5~6 hour distillation time
